Steve MacEachern, Assistant Director of the Malden DPW, worked with the City of Somerville (14 years) and the MA Water Resources Authority (17years). Steve is committed to making Malden a better place with his knowledge and past work experiences.

Working along side of Bob Knox Jr., this team is responsible for the safety of the Malden residents, snow removal, sidewalk repairs, graffiti, tree maintenance, pot holes, city parks and street sweeping are a short list of the maintenance done for the City of Malden. Steve is committed to making Malden a nicer place to live work and play.

Steve’s interest is his Mustang GT convertible. He belongs to a club MOM, Mustangs of Massachusetts The club members attend many fundraising events.

During Covid 19, the club would put together rolling birthday parties for young children. Anywhere from 20 to 50 Mustangs would drive by the home of the child to create a memory the child will always remember.
