Off Shoots Landscape Architects, Inc. builds community stewardship on the site of Malden River Works

Kate Kennon and her Offshoots crew brought our community together to demonstrate the importance of intentional native landscapes for biodiversity in our landscapes, including our backyards. We started with a short tour of the Malden River shoreline, learned about the top five invasive plant species, and how we can help protect and enhance the Malden River ecosystem. Then, we removed invasive plants to Make Way for Milkweed. We spread Milkweed seeds at the end of the workshop.
